OUR FIRST COLLECTION
- Brazilian fashion industry has over 30,000 formal companies that together move BRL 50 billion per year​
- The employee count is more than 1.7 million, of which 75% are women
- São Paulo is the city of fashion and generates, only at Bom Retiro:
12 tons of textile waste every day = 6 trucks = BRL 540,000
​
As a way to bring consciousness to this issue, we went to Bom Retiro, collected textile waste from the streets and transformed that into treasures, while bringing voice to Paraisópolis community. This is how our first collection was created, with the magic of Alex Santos and Francinete, stylist and dressmaker from Paraisópolis.
